These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed with Cake Wonderland, whether via our website, social media, email, phone, or in person. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Orders & Deposits

We strongly recommend placing orders as far in advance as possible, particularly for large or detailed designs, to allow sufficient time for planning and preparation.
In some emergencies, a turnaround time of as little as 48 hours may be possible, subject to availability and at Cake Wonderland's discretion.
Acceptance of short-notice orders is not guaranteed and may be declined depending on workload, complexity, or ingredient availability.
A non-refundable deposit of 10% of your order is required to secure your order date.
An order is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.
By placing an order with Cake Wonderland, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
Orders placed by persons under 18 years of age must be made with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Payments and

The remaining balance must be paid by 48 hours before collection.
We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as Revolut (for in-person delivery and collection only).
Failure to complete payment within the agreed timeframe may result in cancellation of the order without a refund of the deposit.

3. Pricing and Minimum Order Value

All prices quoted by Cake Wonderland are final and non-negotiable.
Prices are based on design, size, ingredients, and labour involved at the time of quotation.
We reserve the right to amend prices at any time; however, once an order is confirmed and a deposit has been paid, the agreed price will not change.
There is no minimum order value.
Our products are sold in boxes, so orders are placed by selecting a box option rather than individual mixed items.

4. Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations made 72 hours before the collection date may be eligible for a partial refund, excluding the deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Any changes to your order (design, size, flavour, or collection date) must be requested at least 72 hours in advance and are subject to availability.
For emergency orders, availability, design, size, and flavours may be limited, and acceptance is subject to availability and at the discretion of Cake Wonderland.
We kindly ask customers to notify us as soon as possible if they expect to be late for their agreed collection time.
While we will do our best to accommodate delays where notice is given, late collections may not always be possible due to other orders or scheduling constraints.

5. Collection & Delivery

The collection is available Monday to Sunday by prior arrangement.
Free delivery is available within Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo, by prior arrangement. Delivery date and time must be agreed in advance and are subject to availability.
Local delivery is available within approximately 35 km of Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo for orders with a minimum value of €100. Local deliveries are available on weekends only and must be arranged in advance. A flat delivery charge of €10 per order applies.
Selected products are available for nationwide delivery via An Post at a flat rate of €8.95 per order.
Please note that celebration cakes, cupcakes, luxury mini desserts, luxury brownie cookies, and other fragile items are not suitable for courier delivery and are therefore available for collection or local delivery only.
While Cake Wonderland takes every reasonable care in packaging products for transport, we cannot accept responsibility for delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party courier services once an order has been collected from our premises.

6. Design & Appearance

While every effort is made to meet design requests, minor variations in colour, decoration, size, or finish may occur.
Reference images are used as inspiration only. Exact replicas are not guaranteed.
Decorations and cake toppers are included in the price of the cake, unless otherwise stated.
Any reference images provided by the customer or sourced online are used for inspiration only. While we aim to match the overall style, theme, and colour palette, exact replicas of decorations, cake toppers, or design elements cannot be guaranteed due to the handmade nature of our products.

7. Allergens & Dietary Requirements

Customers must inform Cake Wonderland of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of ordering.
While care is taken, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Cake Wonderland accepts no liability for allergic reactions where full and accurate information has not been provided.

8. Storage & Handling

Once collected or delivered, responsibility for correct storage, transport, and handling passes to the customer.
Cake Wonderland is not responsible for damage caused by improper storage, transport, or handling after collection.
We recommend storing our products in a refrigerator at 0–5°C, unless otherwise advised.
Products such as cakes, mousses, Luxury Mini Dessertss and/or cupcakes should be removed from the fridge 20-30 minutes before serving.
Storage instructions may vary depending on the product.
Storage recommendations are provided as guidance only.

9. Food Safety

Our kitchen operates in full compliance with HSE food safety and hygiene regulations and is subject to routine inspections.
Our products are made fresh to order and are intended to be consumed within the recommended timeframes for best quality:
Chocolate products (including bars, bonbons, and chocolate decorations) are suitable for consumption for several weeks when stored correctly.
Cake pops are best consumed within approximately 7 days of collection.
Cakes, mousses, Luxury Mini Desserts, cupcakes, and other fresh desserts are best consumed within 24–48 hours of collection, unless otherwise advised.
Recommended consumption timeframes are provided as guidance only and assume correct storage conditions as outlined in our Storage & Handling section.
Individual products may have specific storage or consumption instructions provided at the time of collection.

10. Taste & Personal Preference

Taste is subjective.
Refunds or replacements are not offered based on personal preference or dislike of flavour, sweetness, texture, or appearance, where the product is otherwise fit for consumption.

11. Refunds & Complaints

Due to the perishable nature of our products, refunds are not offered once an order has been collected or delivered, unless the product is proven to be faulty or unsafe.
Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of collection, with photographic evidence where possible.
Complaints received outside this timeframe may not be considered.

12. Photography & Marketing

Cake Wonderland may take photographs of completed orders for portfolio, website, or social media purposes.
Please inform us in advance if you do not wish your order to be used for marketing.

13. Right to Refuse Service

While we always do our best to accommodate orders, there may be occasions where we are unable to proceed due to availability or other practical considerations.

14. Ability to Accept Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Cake Wonderland, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and that you are able to enter into and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

15. Email Marketing Consent

By submitting your details and signing up to our newsletter, you agree to receive occasional marketing emails from Cake Wonderland, including updates, offers, and promotions, at the email address provided.
Signing up to our mailing list is not a condition of purchase.
You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails.

16. Use of the Website & Online Ordering

Where our website or online ordering system is used, customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their personal details, login information, and payment details.
You are responsible for all activity carried out using your details on our website or online ordering platform.
Our website and online ordering services are intended for use by persons 18 years of age or older, or by those under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
While we take reasonable steps to ensure our website and online ordering system operate correctly, Cake Wonderland does not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
In the event of a technical error, pricing error, or system malfunction, Cake Wonderland reserves the right to correct the error and amend or cancel the affected order, with any payments refunded where applicable.

17. Online Orders & System Availability

All orders placed through our website or online ordering system represent an intention to purchase the selected products at the agreed price, subject to availability and confirmation.
Cake Wonderland is not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability, delays, or technical issues affecting the website or online ordering system.

18. Indemnity

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cake Wonderland, its owners, and employees from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
Your use of the website or online ordering system
Your breach of these Terms & Conditions
Your misuse of the website or any information provided through it
This does not affect your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.

19. Intellectual Property & Image Use

All content on this website and our social media platforms, including photographs, images, designs, text, and branding, is the property of Cake Wonderland, unless otherwise stated.
Images of our products may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, edited, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Unauthorised use of our images or content is strictly prohibited.
